This is ToutSuite Tasting in the Dark. Participants welcome. Watch and learn in awe and delightment - the First Monday of every month - as we bring you special selections from the very best wine merchants we know. In the first half, our hand-selected tasting panel will silently make their way through the flights while you can follow the deliberations along with color commentary live online. Then in overtime, you can join the show with the merchant of the hour and our tasters who will explain, argue, discuss, consider and reveal their thoughts, feelings and opinions about the wines - face to face with you.

Interactivity as you never imagined. But we did it. You’re welcome.

Dean and Deluca Wine

Growing up on the east end of Long Island in New York, Kerrin was first introduced to wine from witnessing the evolution of surrounding sod fields and potato farms to vineyards of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay. While studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kerrin’s palate broadened, working at the esteemed Crook’s Corner and Another thyme in Durham, North Carolina. Through her experiences with working in the restaurant world, Kerrin realized her true passion was the world of great food & wine.

In 2003, Kerrin decided to make wine her profession and began her career with DEAN & DELUCA, where she started as the Wine Buyer for the Washington, DC store. After three years, she felt the urge to broaden her wine knowledge and responsibilities and made the cross-country move to Napa Valley, to manage and create the wine selection for the St. Helena, California DEAN & DELUCA.

Today, as Wine Director for DEAN & DELUCA, Kerrin concentrates her efforts on product selection for the company both domestically and internationally and has become an integral member of the most established and up-and-coming star vintner community. Her palate rivals some of the most esteemed wine critics for California wine and has earned her access to the best of the new introductions in the California wine world. Kerrin is also a freelance journalist for Edible Communities Publication and since 2007 and has been a judge on the wine panel for the Food & Wine Magazine’s American Wine Awards.
