Lippy (Michael Lipman) has hosted the live Tequila Whisperer video webcast for almost 3 years through more than 100 episodes and with a following in the tens of thousands. His work on the “Whisperer” show has garnered him 2 “Webby” nominations for Best Food & Drink Podcast”. The Tequila Whisperer Facebook page was voted a winner in the prestigious Top 40 Fan Pages awards in 2010. His new book, The Art of Tequila Whisperer was recently released to wide acclaim.

He has personally visited many distilleries in central Mexico and has a respected relationship with most of the best tequila producers in the country. He is also a sought-after “tequilero," presenting tequila teaching seminars and staff trainings for some of the Country’s top tequila bars and Mexican restaurants such as Agave in New York City, and the recently opened La Condesa in St. Helena, the heart of the Napa Valley Wine Country. Lippy is also a respected judge at a number of the country’s largest tequila competitions including The Spirits of Mexico Awards, and The Monterey Tequila Expo.
